POOLER, GA (May 2, 2008) – Mick O’Brien, Chief Operating Officer, Medallist, USA hosted a grand opening celebration for the new Clubhouse at Savannah Quarters Country Club. Over three hundred Members attended the party featuring live music by The Sapphire Bullets.

The over 450 Members of Savannah Quarters Country Club are enjoying the new facilities in the Clubhouse. The Clubhouse incorporates dining and golf services into one building with enhanced services. Pamela Thompson, Food & Beverage Director, and Bruce Ford, Executive Chef, have diversified dining services with three dining rooms plus outdoor dining. Golfing Members enjoy exclusive dining privileges in the Golf Grille. Members are hosting private events in the new Wine Room and Private Dining Room.

Golfing Members find their golf experience enhanced with the new Clubhouse amenities including richly appointed men’s and ladies’ locker rooms. Staff associates are proud to provide bag storage and shoe service to golfers. Director of Golf Brian Glasco is also proud to announce that with the new facility the Club has made an environmentally-responsible switch to electric golf carts.

As Savannah Quarters Country Club builds on its reputation for providing first-class golf and services, Medallist Developments commissioned the building of the 29,000 square foot Clubhouse to better serve its Members. Member Rex Cress complimented the new facilities boasting, “every time I look I find more wonderful features, the Clubhouse is more than I ever expected.”
