Reflecting on a dozen rounds or so I played before my accident, I especially remember the tee shot views. You can see the hazards and usually the pin. I like that! He gives you some room for drives; even for someone like me, known to spray the ball around.
However, it gets tougher on the shot into the green, which is usually flanked by a pond on one side and a gaping sand trap on the other. If I elude those but miss the green, the nice thing is you can chip and run the ball. Putting is true, but tricky, with very subtle breaks, which are often not seen.

From a golfer's perspective, the Norman design team has made the Savannah Quarters course considerably more playable while maintaining multiple levels of difficulty (depending on the selected tee from which the course is played).
