Assistant Superintendent Mark Madonna has been awarded as Savannah Quarters Country Club’s 2009 Associate of the Year.

Each year employees at the Club nominate the colleague they believe has provided the most exemplary service, leadership, and dedication to be honored as Associate of the Year. General Manager Philip Linaugh commended, “To be recognized for excellence by your colleagues is the highest honor an employee can be given.” Madonna was recognized for his constant willingness to help out with any department going above and beyond his daily responsibilities. He displays a positive attitude and provides the highest quality service for Members and guests. As an employee of management company Troon Golf, Madonna is dedicated to the company’s values and mission providing a positive experience for guests and fellow associates.     

Madonna oversees the maintenance of the golf course and supervises a diverse staff. He brings extra talents to the company as a bilingual employee. Madonna had also previously been honored twice as Associate of the Quarter.
